Beijing, Sculptural Painting, Stéphanie Kilgast, 2016

Beijing, Sculptural Painting, Stéphanie Kilgast, 2016

I’m leaving for Bordeaux on Wednesday, as Thursday is the vernissage of my first solo exhibition in an art gallery.
I’m totally excited, and also utterly and irrationally scared.
These last weeks have been quite exhausting, as I wanted to add two extra sculptural paintings for the show and we are in the middle of Christmas season, so orders keep pouring in, which is good (it pays the rend and food) but I feel like I need a pause as well.
Here below the 10 artworks that will be shown. Note that the insects will be dancing together in one set-up.

If you happen to be in Bordeaux, France, be sure to check my work out, as I have no clue when I’ll be able to exhibit my work next!
Vernissage on December 1st 206
Exhibition from 1st to 11th.

I am very happy for you, this was the direction you wanted to go 🙂
No octopus (sorry I forgot her name)?
    Good luck!

I love your sculptural paintings! And if I was filthy rich I would come to the exhibition and buy one of them for an insane amount of money.
    Good luck!

haha, yes I love bugs! I just hadn’t much time to work more on them. Hopefully I can turn things around next year to work on art almost exclusively!

I am sitting here wondering how the exhibition went. I hoped there may be a sneaky review already here but I will have to just keep biting my nails!
