I Can : Anxiety, Sculpture, 2017, Artwork by Stéphanie Kilgast

I Can : Anxiety, Sculpture, 2017, Artwork by Stéphanie Kilgast

Hello!

I have been working on the ongoing series of tin can and personal emotions.
This time, I worked on anxiety.
The idea I wanted to recreate was the feeling of suffocation that one can experience when being anxious.
So I created a spiraling grow of blue mushrooms that are strangled by metallic wire.

This sculpture is available, don’t hesitate to contact me or see more pictures.
It is also available as an art print.

    magnifique

This artwork can open a lot of feelings, but anxiety wins!

yes, sometimes I wonder if I should just name the color and not the feeling, so people can see/feel whatever they want.
