Meadow, Sculpture, Mixed Media, 2017, Stéphanie Kilgast

Hello!

I’ve just finished another growth out of a jar. Very happy with this one, although it will probably need some board underneath as it’s slightly too fragile to move around. What board? No clue, but it’ll have to be very minimal.
Newt week I want to do a new sculptural painting and possibly some jewelry.
I feel like I’ve arrived at some conclusion of my visual search and I feel more confident about trying to sell my artwork. I do like the last pieces and want to revisit the work in various colors.
Anyway! I hope you like these growths out of jars sculptures, as they are a lot of fun to make!
Happy weekend!
xx
Stéphanie

I love the out of the jar ideas, maybe some pretty colorful vintages glass could be used too :)? Just an idea.
Love what comes out of these jars!

I’ve been thinking about it, but I feel like it makes more sense to use things from now, as I criticize our current society.
But I still like the idea of using vintage jars, so I’m not sure.
