A new artwork has just been finished.
Slay! Slay! The Monochrome!
If you follow me on social media, you might have seen me sculpting monochrome white sculptures since April. Today, I finally made the last needed sculpts and then proceeded to splatter it with a beautiful magenta.
Working on the opposition of abstract and realism but also on a double lecture of far / close to the artwork and a representation of the human gesture on nature’s biodiversity. It’s mostly uncaring and brutal, yet sometimes, humans create beauty as well, like science and art.
I can’t say if I will still like this one in the long term, but for now I love it. The painting made some beautiful things on the sculpts. As humans can also do beautiful things.
